Up for sale is a very large 19th Century schooner anchor.
The anchor is 7 feet long by 5 feet wide fluke to fluke.
The 7 foot reef bar is original with original ball finials.
Not a replacement.
The anchor was salvaged from a wooden schooner wreck 20 miles off the coast of Jersey in the 1970’s.
The anchor has a stabilized rustic patina with no flaking or deterioration which is common to many.
The anchor weighs in around 1500 pounds.
Would make a great statement piece for the nautical minded home.
