1968 RAMBLER AMERICAN 440 STATION WAGON:
The recently completed 10 year Resto-mod project started with a well documented original and clean1968 Rambler American 440 SW equipped with a 199ci 6 cylinder engine and a 3 speed manual transmission.
It was professionally converted to a Chevrolet 350ci small block with a turbo400 automatic transmission connected to a Ford 9" rear differential with 3:55 gears and a heavy duty drive shaft.
The project also included the addition of rack and pinion steering and a flaming river tilt steering column, a serpentine front pulley system, Tesla Style Electric Brakes, a heavy duty aluminum radiator and Dakota digital analog style gauges.
Over 85K has been invested in the Resto-Mod conversion.

The sale includes more than 85K in receipts (the RestoMod work was performed by JB's Corvette Specialists in Dallas, TX and Fantomworks in Norfolk, VA.
), the purchase invoice from Mecum auto auctions and the original 1968 purchase paperwork by the original owner.
The car has a clean Texas Title in my name and is kept in a climate controlled building in Hertford, NC.
