Express Linens OBX provides rental linen delivery & pickup service to vacation homes from Corolla to South Nags Head.
We are currently hiring Linen Drivers and Assistants for the 2024 Summer Season.
The Linen Driver Assistant position is a multipurpose position where the employee is expected to deliver & pickup linens and perform warehouse work.
The person must be available to work Thursday - Sunday.
No experience needed, we will train any candidate that is enthusiastic and ready to work! We appreciate you taking the time to review the list of qualifications and to apply for the position.

Linen Driver Assistant responsibilities include:
* Follow delivery route to deliver linen bags to vacation rental properties
* Follow pickup route to pickup dirty linen bags from vacation rental properties
* Pack linen orders
* Communicate with customers in the field (when necessary)
* Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to hand cart, pallets, load bars and personal protective equipment
* Responsible for ensuring the duties of their position are preformed in a safe, efficient and effective manner
* Prepare truck for next day deliveries
* Check the condition of the vehicle daily
* Clean and maintain delivery vehicle and equipment
* Completely fill out required daily paper work
* When not driving, preform the duties of a Warehouse Associate
* This position frequently lifts, pushes, or moves product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds
* Understands customer emergency needs and plays a major role in the emergency deliver service offerings
* Provide the highest level of service and product integrity for every customer by safe and timely delivery of customer orders
* Must be a motivated self starter that is willing to work as part of a team
Requirements for the Linen Driver Assistant position:
* Must be 16+
* Must be physically fit, work is physically demanding (hot summer days & heavy frequent lifting)
* Ability to lift 50 - 100 pounds
* Highly responsible & reliable
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
* Familiarity with phone based maps and apps
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
