*Overview* As an experienced full-charge bookkeeper manager, you will be crucial in overseeing bookkeeping and payroll services for our valued clients.
You will manage the entire bookkeeping team and payroll process, leveraging your expertise to maintain accurate financial records and facilitate timely payroll processing.
*This is not a remote position; the candidate would be full-time in the office* *Responsibilities* * Lead and mentor a team of bookkeepers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure productivity and professional growth.
* Manage and maintain accurate client financial records, including reviewing accounts payable and accounts receivable for accuracy and preparation and entering journal entries.
* Process payroll for clients and 1099s, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments.
* Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records.
* Prepare financial statements and reports for clients, providing valuable insights into their financial performance.
* Process Sales tax for clients.
* Assist clients with tax preparation and compliance, collaborating with our tax specialists when necessary.
* Stay up-to-date with accounting and payroll regulations to ensure compliance for clients.
* Identify opportunities to improve clients' financial processes and recommend best practices.
*Qualifications* * A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper with mangerail experience.
* Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, ACS, and MS Office Suite.
* Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax regulations, financial reporting, and General Accepted Accounting Principles.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage staff and multiple clients simultaneously and as part of a collaborative team.
* QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certificate preferred.
