The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervise assisgned team members.
The Licensed Practical Nurse will perform clinical and administrative duties under the direction of a medical provider and Registered Nurse (RN).
Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by the medical provider.
Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
The LPN (under the direction of the RN supervisor) is responsible for ensuring that new medical assistants and support staff members are adequately trained in their assigned duties.
The LPN will report to the clinical manager and work closely with the quality team and RN supervisors to coordinate patient care and workflows throughout the Agape Health Services sites.
The LPN will be required to travel to various sites for training and supervision of clinical support staff as needed by the RN and clinical manager.
