Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Surgical Unit

ECU Health About ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center ECU Health Beaufort Hospital is located in Washington and serves as a campus ECU Health Medical Center, our Level I Trauma Center in Greenville.
The 142-bed full-service hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women's services.
In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy.
The facility also features the Marion L.
Shepard Cancer Center, offering leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services.
Position Summary Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Participates in the assessment of patients.
Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating/revising the plan of care.
Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promote and professional development.
Develops a leadership role within the LPN scope of practice.
Participates in Service Excellence Program.
Minimum Requirements LPN Diploma Active NC LPN License or compact state American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Exposure and practice of medication administration from educational preparation and student clinical practice.
Other Information Location/Unit: ECU Health Beaufort (Washington, NC) - Surgical Unit (27 bed unit) This position is full-time (36 hrs/week) and either day or night available.
