United States (Remote) Nokia Federal Solutions (NFS) is a dedicated Nokia US entity focused on delivering mission critical solutions to the US Government.
NFS will deliver solutions, products, and participate in research directly with the US Government and the system integrator and partner community.
What you will learn and contribute to 5G Cyber Security Architect We are looking for a 5G network cyber security expert to join our team and work with our U.
S.
Government customer to design secure 5G network solutions, assess security risks associated with the 5G network architecture, and define security enhancements for future Nokia products and 3GPP standards.
You will be responsible for providing technical guidance, expertise, and support to our customers, partners, sales and delivery teams on various aspects of 5G network security, such as threat analysis, risk assessment, security architecture, security testing, security monitoring, and security compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES As part of our team, you will: Work closely with the U.
S.
Government and Nokia partners to design and propose secure 5G network solutions that meet the mission requirements Develop and present 5G network security architectures, designs, and proposals to customers and stakeholders, highlighting the benefits, features, and differentiators of our solutions.
Write whitepapers and proposals for 5G network security architectures and solutions.
Represent Nokia Federal in working groups focused on 5G security and related topics.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to delivery teams during the implementation and deployment of 5G network security solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and policies.
Define 5G network security testing, validation, and verification techniques and requirements to ensure the quality and performance of our solutions.
Support customers in achieving 5G network security compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks, such as 3GPP, GSMA, NIST, ISO, etc.
Research and evaluate emerging 5G network security technologies, tools, and techniques, and provide feedback and suggestions for innovation and improvement.
Note: Due to the requirements of the National Security Agreement, only US Citizens are eligible for this position.
REQUIRED SKILLS You have: At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity and network security architecture, design, implementation, or operation.
Solid knowledge and understanding of 4G and 5G network architecture, protocols, features, and functions.
Proficient in 5G network security technologies, tools, and techniques, such as encryption, authentication, firewall, IDS/IPS, DDoS mitigation, etc.
Familiar with cloud infrastructure concepts and technologies, such as virtualization, containers, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
Skilled in cybersecurity threat identification and mitigation techniques and technology, such as threat intelligence, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, incident response, etc.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to travel frequently to customer sites.
