Role: As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the general health and well-being of residents through the delivery of comprehensive and high-quality services in a convalescent and rehabilitation setting and mentor nursing assistants.
To excel in this role, you should have an interest in health care and keep the patient's needs as your top priority.

What You’ll Do: The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide basic nursing care to patients and residents this includes but not limited to administering medication and treatment for long-term care and short-term sub-acute residents.
Plans and manages patient care according to their needs.
Monitor health conditions & record response & side-effects to medication & treatments.
Obtain patient's vital signs and provide routine patient care.
Accurate administration of medication & treatments.

Assist physicians and Registered Nurses.
Provide wound care.
Administer enemas and monitor catheters.
Insert indwelling and intermittent catheters.
Knowledge of appropriate nursing assessment, diagnoses, & interventions with patients.
Safely implement Special Treatment Procedures.
Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
Assist with educating patients & families in medication & care management.
Direct subordinates in the performance of their duties.
