Job Description ITW Medical seeks skilled and experienced machine operators.
We pride ourselves of promoting from within to technician roles for qualified and high performing team members.
We have a 12-hr rotating schedule 7am- 7pm and 7pm- 7am.
One week will work Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday; the following week Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Overtime may be required.
Pay is $16/hr and night shift offers $2/hr shift premium.
Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience and ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform changeovers for automated equipment.
These positions require to be cross- trained in multiple departments.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY/SUPPORT: To serve as a member of the ITW Medical responsible for the quality and production of the machines for distribution to our customers.
To ensure that every machine is operating according to all Manufacturing Instructions and Operating Procedures.
To practice and encourage courtesy and helpfulness among all team members.
To become fully trained in all areas of machine operation as per Standard Operating Procedures.
Follow all ITW Medical rules and regulations.
Perform end of the day clean up duties as required, and any other required housekeeping.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct initial inspection of manufactured parts for defects; escalate issues as required Record all activities of assigned shift by completing proper forms; i.

job activity sheets, break sheets, etc.
Communicate with the shift lead and QC inspectors Replenish raw materials Report machine issues to technicians QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Educational Level HS Diploma or GED Comprehension/Reasoning Skills This position requires the ability read and comprehend Operating Instructions and Manufacturing Specifications for the work performed.
Math Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute ratios and percentages.
Other Skills and Abilities This position requires corrected eyesight of 20/20 for the visual quality inspections that are performed on parts.
Basic Computer Skills – Data Entry, Common Searches, Proficient use of Microsoft Suite, and other custom software packages specific to the business COMPETENCIES/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
