JOB
Performs intermediate skilled trades work performing general maintenance and construction duties, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Building & Grounds Supervisor.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Constructs and repairs decking, steps, and handrails; installs siding, drywall, and flooring.
Performs skilled trades work such as roofing, framing, trimming, locksmithing, installing windows, painting, and setting pilings and pouring concrete.
Performs metal work and welding.
Moves heavy equipment, such as office furniture, appliances, etc.
Performs various general maintenance tasks.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
High school diploma or GED and extensive experience in maintenance and construction, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special RequirementsValid North Carolina driver's license
